I liked the visuals but it really felt like the predators weren't following their own rules. I also kind of didn't really care about the human's stories but i guess it's hard to give a shit when you know where it will go. which is just a fight to the death against a 9 foot alien.

I'm glad stylized 3D made a comeback, but I vehemently hate the low FPS. Such cheapskates.
However the overall atmosphere and everything felt nothing like the Alien & Predator movies ... it felt like the cheesy comic books.

This atmosphere and all that backstory and all those weird fights feel more like the story for a Mortal Kombat animated series than Predator that's all about actually hunting rather than fighting. Ironically Samurai Jack got the idea infinitely better and there was 0 fighting when Jack had to deal with the Imakandi.

That's because the tribe we're seeing in this film isn't the same clan as the conventional Predators we've seen in the first two films. They're the same as the one from Prey, where they favor simple weapons over plasma casters and don't appear to have a code of honor.

Which on the opposite end we got guys like the Black Clan from Predators where they really want the best tech out there to prove their skills as killers but also don't have a code of honor like the normal stock
