Nah he was a producer on that, it was directed by Peggy Holmes. It's worse than you think, last thing he actually directed was this bad boy.

If he was making money Dinsey wouldn't have trashed him even if he was throwing babies inot a woodchipper. But he was making pure shit.

I always wondered, are his shirts custom tailored or did he buy them from a specific shop?

He was fired at the height of #metoo, even to this day Cars is still Pixar’s most profitable franchise.

he doesn't need an apology.
blame disney for pixar's problems - they released three movies in a row direct to streaming and expected people to pay to see them in theaters
even if some incels and /pol-tards here didn't get all screechy with shouts of "DEI DEI" at elemental and elio (and turning red and anything else pixar has shat out in the last few years) and they approved of every topic and storyline of any pixar releases, the same thing would happen ABSENT some other factor (e.g. Inside Out being a sequel to a popular original).

in streaming, pixar still does well, even with these movies, so they would need to do say a sequel to elemental or elio (or luca or something else) and see how that flies theatrically.
and especially need to keep something like elio off streaming for six months instead of putting it on there in 70 days after july, like currently planned. but they won't do that and lassie wouldn't have been able to prevent that, either!

They can pull the numbers as they're happening. They can see if new Pixar films are driving subscriber retention/growth, how home video sales grow, and if it creates any movement in merch to see if any endeavor is worth dumping more money into. They don't need to blindly gamble on if it's worth giving a box office flop sequels since they can tell in real-time if it managed to build a new audience. And really, the only ones that've been doing any kinds of success have been Luca (which saw a considerable merch sales boost once it hit streaming) and Turning Red, and Disney has already been trying to profit off of them in the parks today even though their movies came and went.

Nuh uh he started the trend of greenlighting various sequels to Pixar movies outside of Toy Story. I'm pretty sure he greenlit Ts4 too.
