Avatar The Last Air Bender
Why didn't these niggas ever get colonized by Europeans? They need to be taught a lesson and put in their place. They need to be converted to Christianity.

Non-Asians don't exist in the Avatar-verse.

It's not too far fetched honestly, both northern and southern tribes had eurasian influence in addition to inuit, the north had its settlement inspired by Venice. Republic city in LoK took inspiration from Vancouver and New York city aside from the obvious Asian influences.

> both northern and southern tribes had eurasian influence in addition to inuit
Not quite. "Inuit" (in modern PC terminology) includes a wide group of indigenous peoples of Arctic and Subarctic regions of both Asia and N. America. The Water Tribes of Avatar are based on the Siberian Eskimo (in the meaning of both Inuit and Yupik) indigenous groups. Any perceived relation to NA Inuit (or Aleut) culture is either because it's already shared with Siberian groups or purely coincidental.

>Republic city in LoK took inspiration from Vancouver and New York city aside from the obvious Asian influences.
RC is based on the idea of an Industrial Age city. Any similarities with Western cities in the Modern Age is reference use only for production purposes hence why they dressed it up with Asian motifs. Definitely not because Vancouver/NYC exist in the Avatar-verse.

Ofc not, I meant the influences present in the fictional groups of atla being a hodgepodge as well as the locations.
