It's fucking hot out, so lets talk about fire characters. Personally I like Heat Wave from The Flash. Doesn't get any hotter than him. Fuck you Firefly

Can someone convince me Pyro is actually cool?
I know characters are more than just their powers but I can't take him seriously because he's dependent on other sources of fire for his power to work
Wouldn't that make him be seen as some cripple compared to true pyromancers?

Well to be fair even a real life inferno that decimates acres of land starts with just a spark. If Pyro can continuously feed it and manipulate it, then it's about even.

Pyro was just a henchman in a villain team, so they weren't trying to make him too OP. Instead they gave him some limitations that made him more interesting than an ordinary pyrokinetic, where he can't create flame himself, and isn't invulnerable to flame. The flamethrowers built into his costume were a cool design.

It's crazy how there aren't any cool fire characters.
