Yes, it will bring in more tickets, especially in the situation they're in (shouldn't had hinged everything on Floyd's cousin and Rick & Memey "writers"). But you're deluding yourself if you think RDJ is that much of a draw as "RDJ" and not "RDJ as Iron Man". It'll help them pass the billy, maybe 1.5, but they're not hitting Endgame numbers, especially when the rest of the lineup is FalCap, El Nino Sin Amor, ThunderFlops and Reedo Ricardo. See you when FF underperforms... FoX-Men and RDJ will carry, but it's a genuinely moronic decision when they could've grabbed any Oscar Winner for Doom that fit better (Bardem, Cillian, etc) and just hyped him through the various projects. They're instead dumping 100M on RDJ, ruining both Stark and Doom, all for the hope that he might drag them to box office success.

The point however is that all his non-MCU movies have been flops. Nobody cares about the "new RDJ film". RDJ as RDJ doesn't sell anything. It's "RDJ as Stark" that they're banking on, and which will bring in normalfags but has also pissed off a lot of other normalfags because they don't like Stark being tainted by being associated with Doom, in whatever way.

Regardless of what happens, RDJ isn't nearly the name you faggots think he is. If he was, he'd be selling movies with his name alone. But it's been 6 years since Endgame and nothing. Remember Post-IM3 when he tried to "break away", produced his passion flick, it bombed completely, and he came back running to the MCU for Civil War? RDJ as RDJ is nothing. Nolan as a name sells tickets. Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise as names sell tickets. RDJ doesn't.
