>>149146145 (OP)It's astounding how the "run after your love interest and catch them at the airport" is such a cheesy cliche and it's still great.
>>149146145 (OP)Sette's hat (formerly Jivi's) lives. And is Toma's arm... gone? Or just hidden by the bag?
>To get the rest of the books, we have to make sure these first two sell well!
All right bitches we gotta shell out our dollarydoos to buy the fuck out of the new (old) volumes.

>Look at Emil’s face. He loves her~
>Okay! At last! ANNOUNCEMENT! :D
>After over 15 years, Unsounded finally has a publisher! The comic is going to be put to print by Iron Circus Comics, a very cool company that’s done webcomics as illustrious as Rice Boy, Lackadaisy Cats, and TJ and Amal. Pretty rad, right? Our tiny baby has finally grown up, and it’s all thanks to you, readers. Your support all these years helped the comic reach its end, and that’s really what got a publisher to consider it. So thank you.
>Now, please, please head over to the Kickstarter campaign page [https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ironspike/summer-2025-mystery-project], and give it a follow! The campaign will be launching in a bit over a month. There’ll be LIMITED bonus goodies - including commissions and free shipping - but you’ll have to act fast once it launches! Let’s get lots of followers on there before then, it makes us look sick and cool.
>There are some crucial logistical things for current readers to know though. The most important one is these two books are NEW COMPILATIONS. They do not sync up with the old self-published books, and the old shop is coming down this weekend. Those old books are beloved, but now outdated. The NEW books - in addition to having new covers and newly retouched art - are LONGER. Volume 1 contains chapters 1-4 as well as a Duane in Sharteshane bonus comic (this is the old v2 comic). Likewise Volume 2 is LONGER, containing chapters 5-8, a newly illustrated Tainish guide, and a brand new Knock and Anadyne comic.

>Chea's off to see grandma, grandpa, and the goats, in case anyone is wondering why she's so smiley. She's also got her dad back of course, but... GOAT TRIP! Additionally, that is the old badge from the very first chapter, if you didn't recognise it. Elka had it shined up and personalized for her.
>Okay! C&Ping the announcement from the update page! Skip to the --dashes-- if you want new details.
[same text as the website announcement]
>I really am bummed I couldn't get that third book printed this year, but at the same time I'm pleased with the two new books. If you have the old ones, you know some of the dialogue gets lost in the gutters. I was able to fix a lot of that, and also replace the old covers that I never really loved. I'm also enamoured of the new Knock and Ana comic - it's funny and sexy and a fine kind of memorial to the two of them. They didn't get to have enough fun together.
>Let me know if you have any questions about the new books! As far as I know, the crowdfund will launch at the beginning of August. I want some of you guys to score that free international shipping, and I definitely want you guys getting the commissions :)
>>149146252It's good to know it's planned for six books. Hope the first two do well enough to get the rest done so we can have a nice complete collection. As far as publishers go I think Cope made the best choice she could possibly make right now. Iron Circus is more willing to print weirdo stuff and is much more receptive to creator rights from what I've seen. It also helps that it's a publisher with plenty of crowdfunding and printing experience.
>>149146233Gone. That's what Elka's chat with the other armless peaceguard was about.
>>149146252I've had money set aside for whenever we finally get reprints for ages now.
fuck it, I'm not just gonna get myself copies, I'm gonna get a copy or two for my local libraries
>>149146616Someone did that with Megatokyo and that got me into webcomics back in like 2007 or 8. Be careful.
>>149146145 (OP)I hope Toma gets a happy ending for a bit. Dude was an absolute hero and one of the most honest, decent figures in this saga.
Took down a conspiracy to destroy his country from the inside, teamed up (and respected) people from a rival nation because they had the same goals, realized who his true love was, lost an arm, was so inspirational that the memories/spirits/??? of his allies came back from the afterlife to help him AND got fully custody of his daughter from a politically-conniving mother (including the guy she replaced Toma with being fed to the public).
>>149146252>>149146346>we gotta shell out our dollarydoos to buy the fuck out of the new (old) volumes.Does ashley still have that silly "you can't sell outside of MAGAland" thing?
Because that's always been the problem for me.
>>149146967this will remove that problem, she mentioned overseas shipping
also, it's not the old volumes, she had to change them around for the new deal so the content per book is slightly different
>>149146967The Kickstarter page mentions discounted international shipping so it does seem like it's possible.
>>149146967Did you not even read the thing where it mentions international shipping? She's not even distributing herself now.
Will the new editions contain the bonuses from old editions or is the V2 extras gone for good?
>>149146233>Sette's hat (formerly Jivi's) livesanon, I don't think that's the exact same hat...
>>149147066>>149147029>>149147021hot damn finally
that's nice I've always wanted to buy unsounded but at the moment the only way relied on waiting for some american friend to come over to the uk once a year
>>149147066I am so glad she’ll no longer be cramming boxes full of books into her apartment to ship out, she must’ve been stepping over boxes just to get from room to room.
>>149146616I’ve never donated books to a library before. Do you just walk in with them and explain you’re donating them and why, do you email them, or…
>>149146708>MegatokyoDamn, my condolences. I don't even remember how I got into webcomics. The sprite comic sphere of it, I think.
>>149147108Hard to imagine they wouldn't.
Cope you FUCKER, teasing us with the final fate of Toma's poor arm.
>>149147286I was a bit worried the comic would end up going into hiatus forever with the reprint.
All right Anons, in celebration of the new Kickstarter Volumes, let's see anything y'all got from the old Kickstarters. I wasn't around for the Volume 1 Kickstarter but I got the little doodles for the other two, here's Mikaila from Volume 2. You might not believe me but I thought she was still alive mostly just cope but I felt there was some evidence even back then.
>>149146346>>149146366I'm fomo purchasing an additional copy of "outdated" books
>>149146708i just threw a copy in the book return thing, next door theres a used bookstore, if i had to guess thats probably where it ended up.
also this is blasphemy in the highest order, revision titles and reordering of material only to benefit a corpo publisher! none of this would've been done if not for the sake of its capitalistic whims surley this marks the downfall of unsounded.
>>149147849For Volume 3 I got Duane because he's my favorite, living Duane specifically.
>>149147940In addition to the little doodle I did get the pins. You could only choose one to get but through secret means I was able to acquire both.
I mentioned how cool both of them were and she surprised me with the other one, she's so nice.
>>149146742I'm like 95% certain he gently but firmly told the queen the price for saving her ass from unimaginable horrors largely of her own making (and keeping Chea alive until he did) was that he gets to take her and walk the fuck away. Question is if Elka's willing to do the same, which I largely think she is
>>149147849Got all three of the original books. These were the bonuses I got with book 3. Smoke gang represent.
>>149148045I think Cope was sending me a message about my smoke eel selection with the little Sette she sent me though.
>>149148058The squishies did end up winning so maybe that was a parting shot. I love her little doodles. they're so expressive.
I can't fucking believe Toma didn't tell Elka he was leaving or that they haven't planned their future together. The excuse for doing something so fucking shitty had better involve getting Duane and Sette out. Like I hope that kid playing the game with Chea is actually Matty with fixed eyes.
>>149148011God I want those pins, too bad she’ll never do them again
>>149148243It’s not possible to fix his eyes. At best he could get true pymaric replacements like what Duane has but there’s zero chance the Crescian state would allow precious first materials to be wasted like that.
I don’t think that boy is Matty, though. He’s too slender. Matty is a bit pudgy and this boy looks longer in the limbs, especially with the way he’s kneeling.

>>149148255There may be similar things with the new kickstarter. They are a common bonus.
>>149148290I don't think there's anything I've ever said in this thread that doesn't invite a post where someone like you disagrees with absolutely everything I say. It's like you people think everyone else is retarded - of course I meant "fixed" eyes to mean pymarics because I'm not some stupid retard who hasn't been paying attention.
>>149147539It used to be a gamer comic. Hell, I used to read RPG World before IJQ got into animation
>>149148377The Megatokyo art and drawing forum used to be a fun place to hang out, with a few other web comic and professional artitsts. The Fred got pissy and just nuked the forums for no real reason.
>>149148377>I used to read RPG WorldSame
>before IJQ got into animationThat was fun to learn, and I'll always have a soft spot because he managed to "make" it. Enough to make me forgive never ending the thing.
I least I had "Adventurers!". I still think about that gag where once it hit 1000 numbered strips, the number just stayed stuck a #999 until the end.
>>149147539I typed in Online Comics on a whim. Ended up in some odd websites.
>>149147940>living DuaneYou choosing the less handsome Duane must have disappointed Cope. She would have been all ready to draw some bugs 'n' sheeit.
>>149146742>including the guy she replaced Toma with being fed to the public). That reminds me, I remembered a perfect song for that thread just in time for it to be deleted forever!

>>149148255Well let's hope she gets all six volumes published and then they start doing merch! She's already got them designed so it'd just be a matter of getting someone to make them.
>>149147849I've been reading the comic since forever, but was a poorfag until the last kickstarter, so I'm missing the middle volume — on the flip side, Cope broke First Rule of Drawing Dwayne for my Ex Libris, so at least there's that!
>>149150011My apologies to Ashley but I do not share her fujo tastes in undead men.
>>149151550That's a good looking Duane! I can't remember what I requested specifically, did you say you wanted Duane looking cool?
>>149147849Enjoy some rare parent sketches from all the way back in 2017
>>149151580It's been so long I'm not quite sure, but I don't think it was "Dwayne looking cool" specifically. It might've been "doing some badass pymary" and I guess only making him look cool was cheaper in terms of effort?
Either way, pretty satisfied with the outcome.
>>149146233That's just a standard student had in cresce.
I hope the new compilation includes the margins. You just aren't getting the full experience without them.
>>149147328Speaking as a librarian, although not an american one, you can probably just drop by with them, but it never hurts to send them an email as a heads up. Especially since, as a new, niche publication, they'll have to catalogue it from scratch rather than import a pre-existing metadata post from an external database, and that's something that an assistant manning the front desk is unlikely to have the training for.
>>149147849I've posted it before, but here's my sticker of Mama Flask. Her dream appearance was a major inspiration for my favourite and most long-lived D&D PC, a water genasi pirate.
>>149147328If you do, you should probably be sure to give a heads up that this is not for children.
Wouldn't want to traumatize some 8 year old. Unless you do.
I suppose Toma isn't actually Toma anymore. Weird to think about.
Pathetic

>>149153001>this is not for childrenPfft... not for PUSSY children.
>>149153090Exactly!
It might be for children pussy though
but it's mostly for children feet
Already own the original 3 volumes that were printed, but I'm going to rebuy them since the new volumes are different and Cope deserves the success.
>>149153072Everybody calls him Toma cause it sounds better than Emil, which is his actual given name.
>>149147849I actually had another bookmark but I used it quite heavily and I'm not sure where it's wound up. Tucked into a book somewhere, no doubt.
>>149153072Every time you're calling him Toma, you're actually secretly rooting for Emne.
Did she say if there will be any content in the old books that won't make it into the new ones? I need my Senet bestiary
>>149155004I was waiting on the kickstarter for a chance at old volumes, but I guess I'll buy v1 now since apparently that bonus content doesn't have a slot in the new scheme.
>>149155004check the post, she's shuffling it around. you might have to ask for the bestiary on the side, since the Tainish guide is in volume 2 now
of course, I think book 3 is still briefly in stock, so you could get it that way...
>>149153001It's a sword its not meant to be safe
But she's a child
Its educational
But what if she cuts herself?
That will be an impotant lesson.
I want to support at the commission level but I haven't a clue of what'd I want to comission. My coomer brain can only thing about pymric B.E. elka or ana
>>149156658I'm gunning for Duane and Quigley smut. I will counteract your coomer brain with fujo brain
>>149157296The fujo brain is strong, and will be more appealing to Ashley so you'll get better work.
Ash if you're in this thread please don't click the spoiler I don't want you to think less of me
Do you think she'd draw naked Sette if commissioned? Tasteful non-sexual full frontal nudity of course.
>>149160234Fuck that we're going Ssael Team Six on her Florida compound to liberate the untold filing cabinets and gigabytes of personal Unsounded lewds she undoubtedly keeps to herself

>>149160234I don't think she will because it would fuck up her reputation. No one wants to support a pedo artist.
If her reputation wasn't at stake though, I bet she wouldn't give a shit and would draw it. She seems chill af
>>149162604I'm surprised she hasn't gotten in trouble for some of the shit I've seen. There used to be some fucked up stuff on her dA before she wiped it. And if you research her pixiv favorites, it's full of shotacon.
That guy who calls her a pedo is retarded because he thinks she likes loli but she's actually a shota slut.
