>>149158792It would've been nice, but at that age they most likely don't have a single classroom and instead travel between classes. It's possible they have at least one period together. Even if not it's not unreasonable to think he knows her anyways. There's a handful of really hot girls I went to school with that I unfortunately never had a class with after High School started but I remembered them being cute girls I went to 4-6 grade with and still kept on my radar regardless.
>>149158856Katzenberger probably made them cut it. The Documentary said he'd fall asleep watching the dailies, then get confused about details and demand they change stuff on a whim.
>>149158901You've never met a girl before. They all do that, especially when they think no one's watching.
>>149159001Honestly, it works better that they didn't mention it in the way that's usually suggested because it's meant to be a surprise when Pete and PJ show up unexpectedly in the middle of the trip. The only place that really works without disrupting the flow of the story needlessly would be if Pete had a throwaway line about it right when he first greets the Goofs after setting up the RV. Something like:
> Pete: "Ah, this is the life Goof! Central AC, Plasma TV, and the wife and daughter left at home where they can't bother me! PJ! Bring me a brewski from the frigidaire! Ah, what's that good for nothing-"> Max: "PJ's here?"> Pete: "Yeah, go on in. Let the adults have a bit of a chat."> *BEAT*> Pete: "I told you that boy's no good, Goof."
