>teen Clark is fascinated with the stars/space and it's his common ground with Lex
>by the time he's 18 he's got 0 interest in science anymore and just wants to be a heckin journalist
Why do they keep doing this? Why can't there be a single instance where Clark decides to become a scientist and take the stories to a different avenue? It's 2025, journalism is dead, no matter which way you cut it. He's a Sci-Fi character, let him have a primarily Sci-Fi aesthetic, world and stories.
