It's weird being an adult watching movies like this or hearing songs singing about very specific cities or places. They all seemed to have been made before the 90s and I can't think of any piece of media now that romantises anything anymore. Honestly, though, I have that same feeling all the time. I was watching vintage Taco Bell commercials the other night and for some reason they made the culture shift over the past 40 years so god damned palpable. It's legitimately like looking into a different world that I can't believe existed.
