Was it a good idea to make her a mom for the new seasons?

She was technically already a mom prior to Hulurama.

Also, if they wanted to introduce a mrw mom character to the PE team, Amy was already available without having to come up with an entirely new one that could be too intrusive to the cast dynamic.

Why do I find futurama characters attractive but not simpsons characters

I feel like Futurama ones are more grounded in reality due to natural skintones and they definitely went a bit more horny with the character designs compared to the Simpsons.

It's funny because the series takes place over like 3 years and she was 19 in the first episode

No, they acknowledged that time passed between the seasons. Amy would be in her forties right now. However, her exact age ends up being a bit unclear. The series featured all sorts of time-fuckery and shenanigans where the characters got their physical bodies reconstructed. Also, apparently science in the future has evolved to the point where the lifespans of people are radically longer (just look at professor Farnsworth; he was 160 years old in the beginning of the series, and his parents were still alive too).

While I don't hate her relationship with Kif, it really did tie down a big aspect of her character, that being her sluttiness. It ended up making her pretty shitty as she's unfaithful with Kif multiple times in the series, and he doesn't really deserve that. But I get why they did it, because Amy is best when she's slutty.

If you take the fuckery into account she's mid 40s
But if you take the original series only when it officially ended (movies weren't canon at the time) then she's 22/23
But in the non-canon (that was made canon after backlash) she's meant to have graduated 12 years prior to the first episode

Isn't it strange how futurama got another revival and nobody gave a shit? I don't think i've ever even seen a clip of it out in the wild. Did it get one more season? Five? Who can tell. God everything sucks.

We lost what was effectively a shared national sermon with cable TV programming. I didn't hate the Hulu seasons, Bender bullfighting is not bad, and the Squid Game episode (which is really just your standard Sci-Fi "compete for the advanced aliens' amusement" like Marvel's Grandmaster) is one of those where they manage to pull a heartstring that isn't comedy, but instead of sentimentality or romance it successfully leaves you pissed off about how frustrating bad outcomes of good intentions get.

Weakest final episode of the 3, but still a B.
