>Z, I've known you for a long time. Right?
>Definitely. You were born two seconds after me
>Yeah. And ever since we were little, I've been listening to you complain. What are you bitching about?

This movie was a complete fever dream as a kid. I only remember the ending and nothing else.
Maybe I might rewatch it someday. Does it still hold up?

It was constantly compared to A Bugs Life, obviously because "CGI insects", but really it's a much better film that's barely anything like it and basically animated Woody Allen.

You know, I like Woodsy Allen's movies, but I'm not a fan of that nervous fella that's always in them

I'd say go for it. Even if it doesn't hold up as well, it's worth it just for the voicework. They all do pretty well.

It's not that good. People like Antz due to it's weirdness and to be contrarian against Disney. Bugs Life is the more rounded and polished film in my eyes and has a clear story arc and message without the need to get politicaly meta like how Antz does. Antz is just a hodgepodge of jew jokes with strange commentary on marxism for some reason and "protag does this but then suddenly x happens" to progress the plot. It's kind of erratic.

Both about ants in a complex bug society and both have some commentary on authority and needing to be a leader instead of a following
Bug's Life is better to look at but Antz mogs thoughever

I’ll give you Stallone and Hackman, but I’ll die before saying Woody Allen is a good voice actor

I’ll do you one better, I’ll die before I say Ronan Farrow is his biological son.
