>>149207294It's just a character archetype, but all character archetypes are fetishiable, this one has already been fetishized, and although I said all archetypes can fall into that, not all fall equally. Some are more niche than others and some have more staying power.
If you consider the specifics of the mesugaki, they're often:
-Female
-Very young, often teens and almost always preteens
-Deliberately designed to be beautiful and with style, because they're often rich and you have to depict that visually
-The bottom of jokes, which makes them funny characters and/or characters at the center of comedy scenes
-Characters existing in dynamics that, no matter what they are, have the underlying notion of "something is wrong with her"
-That "something wrong" is easier to understand, and therefore to write, as lacking. They don't lack money, so they probably lack affection
-When they get that affection, that normally completes their arch, and now they're lovely
In their narratives it's common that a kind character gives them a chance and corrects them that way, and that of course awakes the fantasies of perverse men who want to correct their emotions through sex. It's not hard to understand why it would be an easy fantasy to develop.
