Big fan of the cosplay, never watched the show

Yes, it's very entertaining and melodramatic, and the central innocent straight romance is a welcome breath of fresh air for a cartoon.

The MC gets a lot of hate form the fans for being just as bad as the so called "mean girl" of the show throughout the seasons.
To make a long story short they call her a mary sue.

It goes up and down.

Evidently, Season 5 was either the peak or the trench of this, but Season 6 seems to be a massive retool.

This show is shit. The show is a combination of the worst parts of caped super heroes and Sailor Moon. You know how in Sailor Moon there's repetitive monster of the week with a build up to the main seasonal villain? In Ladybug its multiple seasons of monster of the week while only focusing on ONE main villain Hawkmoth and he is a shitty uninteresting trash villain because he mostly doesn't do anything except rely on his regurgitated minions.

And as far as super heroes go, super heroes are usually defined by their rogues gallery. Ladybug effectively only has one villain Hawkmoth who is lame shit. So the only thing left this show has going for itself is the uninteresting shitty dragged out melodramatic romance between Mary Sue and Adrien. And it's shitty. Mary Sue is an outright stalker bitch who always must get her way.

I can't believe this shitty cartoon is still going. You would think the fandom who are now adults would realize "Hey this shitty cartoon is repetitive and going nowhere I'm not watching this shit anymore!" Even Pokemon anime fans stopped watching Pokemon because they got tired of the repetitive aimless going nowhere episodes. Ladybug is shit.

He was never meant to to begin with. The only reason his name is in the subtitle is because execs thought calling the show "Miraculous Ladybug" was too girly and would keep boys from watching. Same reason why the Cardcaptor Sakura dub got twisted into the gender-neutral "Cardcaptors" and played Syaoran up as the big male lead instead of the love interest/rival.
