I don’t care if you think I’m being “woke” or “PC”. I spoke the truth in my latest review. I don’t care that the Proud Family takes place in California, which didn’t become a state until 1848. I don’t care how Emily learned to write, speak proper English or where she got a pen or diary. I don’t ask for 100% historical accuracy, just that they don’t water down what truly matters. That people such as Christopher A. Smith are still celebrated today when they shouldn’t be.
I accept this as a work of fiction, but also that it had an important message to teach and it taught that lesson very well. This isn't radical propaganda built on lies, shit like what happened with Penny and her friends? this is happening now. Shit like what Emily went through actually did happen.

That's Kareem. He's the song of a famous basketball player that Oskar is obsessed with that has the same name. He has all his father's basketball talents but finds the sport boring and wants to seek a career in music but not rap music, classical musical which oddly enough makes him the more unique new characters to the show.

Also, in the mirror dimension Ep, Kareem's alternate universe version of himself is just peak stereotype and Oskar's perfect son
