I don’t care how Emily learned to write, speak proper English or where she got a pen or diary. I don’t ask for 100% historical accuracy, just that they don’t water down what truly matters. That people such as Christopher A. Smith are still celebrated today when they shouldn’t be.
I accept this as a work of fiction, but also that it had an important message to teach and it taught that lesson very well. This isn't radical propaganda built on lies, shit like what happened with Penny and her friends? this is happening now. Shit like what Emily went through actually did happen.
