Morty and Bobby are probably the most accurate, though they exist on the opposite of the spectrum. Bobby is everything Morty wishes he could be.
Steven and Dipper act younger than their age.

From my memories of being 13-14 Steve from American Dad feels the most accurate. Maybe Morty too. Steven and Dipper are handicapped from being in children's shows. I wasn't a late bloomer like Bobby so I can't relate.

yeah it's LIKE that huh? except it isnt. these are cartoons and everything they think and do is determined by writers.
my observation is the portrayal of this young teenaged boy archetype is very different across the shows.

steve and morty are on edgey shows and their degeneracy is hammed up for laughs. dipper and steven are luke skywalker ascending hero archetypes. bobby is the most realistic one.
