I think at the time I half-expected Tadashi to be the bad guy because the other twist felt too obvious.

Anyway, it's a cute movie though nothing particularly top-tier. I think the themes are a bit confused because the characterization of Baymax is too broad and it kinda implies a sentience and emotion that it's (canonically) just not there, it's just the kid projecting onto the robot because he needs it as a mechanism to recover and move on.

It's certainly better than any of the three movies which DreamWorks released that year (Peabody & Sherman, HTTYD2, Penguins of Madagascar)
