They needed a conflict and it wouldn't make sense for a regular girl to drink all that root beer without being fetish material so they just made one giant.

One of these days, I'm going to make a cartoon in a realistic setting, except one character looks like a fantasy goblin, which never gets explained, nor do any of the other characters comment on it.
