Are there any actual good Blade comics? Its just the movie I see mentioned.

Blade is usually at his best as a supporting character in someone else's story.

We need to admit some characters cant exist with other marvel heroes around. Blade as a concept is held back from that so much.

How many ideas for the new Blade movie have been scrapped at this point? I remember one of the ideas that it was supposed to be set in the 1920s prohibition era and the other where he's just a tertiary character and the true protagonist was some girl he eventually passed the torch on.

Realistically if Blade is trying to fight vampires so much in mainline marvel whats stopping him from asking for say...a bunch of sentinels to hunt vamps for him? Also how deep do vampires control the world? Do they get into shadow government fights with hydra?

I though the last two series by Bryan Hill were okay, though I've admittedly only read the first three issues of the second one because that's all that's been scanned.
