Howdy from /m/, /co/! It's recently came to my attention that a bunch of issues of Strange Tales (specifically issues 85 through 99) became public domain due to failed copyright renewel which includes Fin Fang Foom's trademark. I did some digging and someone complied a giant list of late golden and early silver age comics that also failed to be renewed. Can anyone confirm how much of this list is real? If even half of this is true than how the hell are people on Archive.org not having a field day?

>>149240106 (OP)FUCK OFF, PITZFAG! You're one of the worst shits on /m/
>>149240106 (OP)>List includes the first 43 issues of Journey Into Mystery, first two issues of Tales To Astonish, and the first two issues of Tales Of SuspenseThere is now way Marvel just forgot these ones, right? This has to be bunk. Not a copyright lawyer so... *Shrugs*
>>149240106 (OP)How would this list include most of Kid Comics except the final issue? That's sus yo.
>>149240106 (OP)Why would Marvel only renew the first three issues of Combat Kelly but not the rest?
Miss Fury is already believable since she's public domain (I think?). Interesting list, OP.
>>149240106 (OP)>due to failed copyright renewel which includes Fin Fang Foom's trademark.Hold the phone, for real? Is this why never got him in Shang Chi?
>Fin Fang Foom is public domain
Well I know what I'M putting in my next short story.
Can anyone actually confirm with government documentation these expired? Tried with Google and failed, normally the PDSH Wiki gives sources and since most of these aren't Golden Age proper the DCM isn't going to have them.
Also why is there no equivalent list for DC?
