Gunn explained that he put Nina on the team because she wasn't an absolutely insane person like the rest of them so she could be able to maybe calm down her teammates, and that becomes clear as the episodes go by and we find out wasn't even a criminal to begin with. Also she's met with a terrible fate so hopefully Waller learned her lesson, or maybe she didn't even care at all.

I tried giving it a shot but the dialogue sounded like it was written by a non-native English speaker desperately trying to sound cool by swearing in every other sentence. Something sounded off about the voice direction as well, like it was a bad dub of a foreign show.

I tried watching it but the sense of humor and the music choices were so stuck in the early 2010s. Gunn in general feels ten years behind the times.
