Continuing on with David's verbal legerdemain of how Jess's play made her friends look good, the kinaidos Matt remarks on how his expy was granted a million dollar settlement which got his brother the operation he required, to which Jess follows up by remarking that she alluded to said expy also hooking up with the Jordan expy. Matt, being the spineless cuckold that he is, apologizes for not being even more of a spineless cuck about Jess caricaturizing him, to which Jess extends her forgiveness and then further denies basing said caricature on Matt, because what the fuck is actually learning a lesson in this webcomic. Jordan chimes in out of god damn nowhere, because he's been there the entire time apparently, to bitch about the Tiffany/Tess character being killed off, to which Madison retorts that no one cares because Tiffany is a bitch who no-one likes, and Jordan remarks that he likes her, indicating that perhaps what drives Matt's infatuation with Jordan is a feeling of kinship in how much they seem to revel in being treated like shit by other people.

I profoundly dislike how this comic flirts with interesting shifts, satisfying consequences, or character epiphanies, then resets everything. Jessica's gotten called out only for everyone to forgive and forget three times, now.

Paulo's realized it's his own fault he's disliked and he should stop being an abrasive asshole like half a dozen times, but it never sticks. Mike has been told "Stop feeling guilty about Lucy, it's not your fault she's insane" four or so times, but he still mopes any time he's reminded of her. Lucy herself keeps having these little moments where she seems to think "why am I such an asshole, my friends are great to me" but she still glares and rolls her eyes any time she interacts with them.

It's incredibly frustrating.
