Yeah it should be the responsibility of content creators to constrain their usage of their medium so it works regardless of how it's consumed. That's why all movies should be shot in extreme closeups and with simple dialogue just in case somebody wants to watch them in their phones at 3X speed

I don’t know the name of it but there was a cool Choose Your Own Adventure style Batman comic against the Riddler someone storytime’d here. All the endings where you follow the instructions led to Batman’s death. You have to ignore the instructions and read it straight through to get a good end.

Someone should storytime that time travel fight from Fantastic Four.

I know people think the art style takes away from the story for some reason, but I love how they found different ways to make characters distinct throughout the story, from speech bubbles to shape language and textures.

I love comics that utilize this kind of stuff. I can't find them anymore but I remember reading one that used this kind of travel between the panels bit to make a comment on time travel and another one where someone shot through the panels and killed someone on the other end of the page.

Fantastic Four #352. This is part 2 of a 2-parter (part 1 is issue #350, oddly enough), but we really don't need to read the first part to understand this issue.

CONTEXT: Reed and Doom are fighting while simultaneously time-traveling. But the issue itself follows linear time. Meaning that you can either read the pages in order and view their fight from one perspective OR you can read the panels in order based on a clock that Reed and Doom are carrying and that is displayed on the page for the reader to see and follow along from their perspective.
