If these are supposed to be the flagship cartoons for each country, the US should be Mickey or Bugs. Wouldn't France be more like Asterix and Obelix?

What is this, most popular with pre-schoolers? The UK alone has made metric fucktons of cartoons and I know France has too.

Originally, but it was bought by a UK company who produced the later series in the UK. Now that company (and Pingu) is owned by Mattel.

You can tell itโ€™s a foriegner who made it because Tom and Jerry is the popular us export cartoon around the world, and it is very popular in the US still but would be obviously why itโ€™s their go-to
The real answer would be Looney Tunes, they have the most known actual animation including to normalfags. Mickey is more known for theme parks then animation

The cartoon was a French production, and most of the actual animation was done in North Korea, this is what Guy Delisle was working on when he did the shit in his Pyongyang book.

Calimero has undergone weebification over the years, the old friends of the Axis slowly took over from an original which was 100% made here.

>Not using Wallace and Gromit for Britain
>Using the cartoon that wasn't the most popular in the US and ironically is loved by the Brits to the point where it is used to fill in schedule gaps after cup finals that go into extra time.

Ironic and fun fact for you.
