DC were saying $90m to $125m two weeks ago; NRG's estimate was $125 to $145 at the same point and according to the bullshit sites up to $175m at the top end (based on Some Guy on Substack Who's Really Huffing His Own Farts)

in practice the DC estimate is probably more realistic, though it remains to be seen - it's possible that it'll just be fucking destroyed by Jurassic World's week 2 given that it's getting 5-star reviews and isn't a poison brand like DC

the tendency is for openers to be revised down and the same bullshit sites are claiming for Superman to be considered a hit it has to pass $700m-$800m - of the entire DCEU just four (out of fifteen) did so, with another two passing that mark accounting for inflation

that is awful, that is like a 1/3 chance for this movie to make the money it needs to worldwide, and that's assuming that the dollar doesn't keep taking avoidable faceplants over the next 3 months
