Two 2d cartoons aired on Animania HD in the early 2000s. Possibly by NFB, UPA, screengems or a phantasy cartoon

One was about a crazy family that comes to visit the main character's house. The uncle cut a potato in half and used it like a branding iron and was making fake money in the basement with the kids. The cousins ripped the head off a "muscle man" superhero toy.

Another was about a boy who wasnt happy he was getting a baby sister. His babysitter or aunt says but then you can play cowgirls with the sister, even if its not a cowboy like you wanted. He cheers up a lot. The baby is born and its a boy. The kid is sad and runs away. The aunt or babysitter goes to be the cowgirl. Had an artstyle similar to picrel

Not sure about the first one, but the second one is 'Bringing Up Mother'. Released by UPA under their Family Circus label.

It's a potato stamp. It's a kids' toy, hence the humorous absurdity of using it counterfeit money.

No, I don't know the cartoon.

As luck would have it, I was watching old episodes of Nickelodeon's Weinerville, which ran the UPA library during its first season, and that short was one of the ones that aired. Always did have a soft spot for the UPA stuff.

Do you happen to recall a black and white cartoon that takes place in mexico, follows a mexican boy and girl and a big ugly guy is the villain? Their pet donkey kicks his ass at some point.

The premise sounds familiar, but it's not ringing any bells.
