How did boomers who own all the stocks get convinced making everything brown and gay as going to pay dividends?

I own some Disney stock and I'm 38.

I really have no idea what Disney is up to and I have no input on what Disney does or makes. Although that is partially my fault because I could attend shareholder meetings, I just choose not to.

The pacing and general plot structure in this was a total mess. It was clearly rewritten a bunch of times and mangled.

well for one Strange World' is not only has a generic and forgettable as fuck title but it has a horrid disgusting character design for the mc specifically. Not to mention that the overall art direction is the nu soft round ugliness thats so trendy in 3d nowadays. looka t the poster, look at screencaps and the characters and vizually alone it does not entice you to watch it

All four of these movies are mid as fuck. They each have one or two above average features to them, but the overall films are all weak.

It's baffling. They had an excuse to make a fun, campy, pulp sci-fi adventure that would have raked in well over a billion dollars, and instead they made a sad, depressing therapy project.

What's truly frustrating is that even at the preliminary stage Ethan's design wasn't yet unsalvageable. It still could have been made to work with some minor tweaks. They really got out of their way to make him look homely.

I didn’t feel anything watching this film. It didn’t feel like a Buzz Lightyear movie nor something from Pixar. I felt the TV show from the early-2000’s was more true to the character and I’m baffled Lasseter forced Disney to bury its existence. (And this is coming from someone who actually got some enjoyment out of TS4)

The only thing I liked from it was the robot cat.

What I'd give to see Strange World that more so closely resembled Scott Watanabe's concepts. I agree it's such an odd direction with how much they changed the final look of film and the character designs.
