>>149280677 I don't understand who this show is for. Being a chef is not some underground hip thing, it's really fucking gay. I doubt most people watching even understand that line
>>149280809 AAAAAHHHHHH FUCCCCKKK WHAT DO YOU MEAN SOMEONE JUST SHOWED UP TO MYYYY RESTAURANT AND ORDERED FOOOOD NOOOOOOOO I CAN'T FUCKING TAKE IT ANYMORE NOW I AM GONNA HAVE TO COOK FOR MONEY FUUUUUCCCCKKKK GOD DAMN IT WHERE IS THE PEANUT BUTTER YES CHEF DAMN IT WHERE IS IT >We just got another order for a glass of water! FUUUUUCCCCCKKKKK
>>149280809 Anthony Bourdain, among others, made being a chef out to be this cool, "punk rock" thing. So now you have this obsession with people being foodies and seeing chefs as cool suffering souls.
>>149285191 that was a fucking great ending, but i have to admit the christmas episode in the second season thats like an hour long is fucking great. you can feel the tension from being with a bunch of drunk idiots trying to cook christmas dinner(i had a similar experience once visiting extended family)

>>149280809 For context the people he's shouting at aren't even at the restaurant for food. It's a made up video the restaurant happens to have a video arcade games tournament. So there literally losers in cosplay in line to play a made up street fighter type tournament
There's an episode where they set up online orders but the girl fucked up and instead of the online orders being the day they were basically open online all night and start the morning being slammed with orders. That episode alone is worth watching.
>>149285242 People really fucking hate when nerds can demand something from a company and get it. Especially when it's the kind of nerds other nerds don't like.
>>149280645 (OP) At least that's a character from a tenuously canon marvel show and a giant rock monster, Michelle Yeoh played a character in GotG Volume 2 and the aunt of the main character in Shang Chi, both characters having the same face.
>>149285556 Thereโs also Gemma Chan playing Sersi after being Minn-Erva in Captain Marvel. At least minn-erva was blue

>more "chefs are assholes" It's a shame because the likes of Jamie Oliver are cool. He at least doesn't come off as one of those "look at me I'm a edgy turbocunt" kinds of chefs. I think those two British biker dudes are pretty decent as well, but not sure if anybody outside of UK heard about them.
>>149286387 yes, he became a fucking retard for the state and tried selling beans on toast for ยฃ10 (like 15 in todays money i think?)

>>149285449 I loved the part where she stabbed a coworker during the chaos she caused with the system she set up and by giving food out that wasnโt approve, and yet she is the one depicted as being in the right and the white man must apologise to her and she never apologises to him or anyone
>>149286424 >the entire driving point of the show is that all these characters are varying degrees of fuck-ups struggling through their lives who have to fight hard to improve themselves and their lot whilst bending over backwards to acknowledge and apologise for all their past mistakes, and then the show puts them through extra hell each episode on top of that >all except for Sydney, who's like just too good and perfect and never needs to apologise for anything ever and, in fact, her only problem is that she's SO GOOD that everybody wants her on their team but she can't decide and also her mom died when she was a baby :((( Just annoys me, man.
