why do girls like Transformers so much?
It started out as the most boys show boys show you could think of, literally big ugly powerful robots beating the snot out of each other and insulting each other.
Nowadays, with about two decades of tv shows with characters actually having nuanced arcs and personalities, you can latch on to them and extrapolate from there, but as far as I know, girls have been into it since the start, its literally why they added the Fembots in season 2 of G1.
Is it just an over-representation of the "girls/women who like robots/sci-fi" crowds, or is there a magnetic affect?
Like, half the people who were making Bumblebee x Charlie art and porn when their movie came out are women.
