ITT: Characters who filter you

I'd respect western animators if they could come up with unique designs instead of just copying the first "how to draw anime" infographics they got off tumblr. At least Kiff is trying to do its own thing as a cartoon, and TADC is trying as well, hell even Edgerunners I almost respect for its writing and usage of character design to put forth a narrative. but that kind of design is worse than anime AND cartoons

Also these are the only two characters I enjoyed watching in the entire show and BOTH are derivative as fuck and not explored in a meaningful enough way to keep me interested in the template characters who surround them

I think the one time I'm willing to give it a pass is Invincible and that's just because they got one of the artists on the comics on board to do the show
