I really shouldn't have to explain The Pest references but in the context of the film they're hunting a douchebag, and those frogs are one of a kind douchebags. Definitely on my top 10 most killable cartoon characters list. I fucking hate those frogs like no other, I do not have a single good memory involving those frogs as I watched Rocko's show. Such unbelievable pricks that I just see them and get mad. The kind of asshole who is occasionally right but more often than not is just entirely yelling at people just to vent their frustrations at someone else instead of going to therapy. They will never become good characters no matter how sappy the trans special reboot tries to pretend the relationship is. What a strange character arc to be an absolutely raging douchebag for years, have the reboot try to make me forget all the yelling and screaming he did, then push the narrative that he's a good dad solely because he didn't cut off his child. That trans dude probably was better off never talking to him again rather than putting up with his shit yet again whenever he's inevitably inconvenienced emotionally.
