There's gotta be a word for this "small world" perception that people get locked into when exposed to online places. You lack the ability to understand just how big the world is and how every voice you hear is a flash in the pan. Its not a 180 its the way online discussion based on 4chan works when everyone is autistic. People dont generally like sitting through bvs and man of steel as a viewing experience but the positive attributes are what kept the discussion surrounding them going and argued about. Now theres nothing left to argue about them because theyre old but the "talking points" about what they did well remain as ideas you can bring up to compare and contrast the new current thing with and on paper they make compelling points. This is just how mechanical thinkers talk about stuff, keep up or fuck off.
