Does anyone have the old MS paint comic that summarizes all of Uber? You know the one where the Allies do something to win again but then SUDDENLY the nazis had another super weapon ready to go and the war is back to a stalemate with insane resources used listed as trying to be smart but would be impossible to keep up

Every time I hear of this I keep thinking back to when Gillen said he got upset over Frank Miller's 300 being inaccurate

Most of the "lack of knowledge" is just kids growing up on hollywood movies bitching how Germany could still keep going in 1945, when the comic explicitly states that they are having mass starvation and their army is just a few hundred superhumans on motorcycles (and like three issues in they retake several large oil depots and destroy the entire allied air force and soviet standing army).

The only crazy part is their fleet of XXI subs, but those have been in construction since 1943 and had operating models before the war ended. So it's a stretch, but not a major one; if you consider they stopped all tank and air production, stopped all air raids, and had enough oil, then it's not impossible.

the point is it was told from the perspective of the spartans, so the enemies are more monstrous, numerous and basically exaggerated to make their achievements seem greater. its based on the histories, so pretty much lifted account that is then played more for spartan retelling. its not meant to be a historical account that is fair to both sides. get fucked persian scum.
