They won't. For some reason the chinese are letting gay looking stuff get in or perhaps they see a large female audience that is into the game. The question is if they're going to "tone up" those female designs to match the male ones. Which would then require the game to get some ratings change by the companies and get scrutinized by the platform holders like Steam, PS, or Xbox.
Hmm...I guess women are inherently more sexual (by their physical bodies being what they are) or men are inherently more influenced by sexual desire or both are true. I think both are true but people are willing to subsume their desires and act correctly even when confronted with a woman with supermodel looks in public and the internet mostly (except here mostly) is public. So some guy posting a vid licking his lips over a game character's model is his own fault and shouldn't affect the autonomy of the woman who should want to see beautiful men and women in their media alongside ugly ones. If children get exposed to this type of character, I don't think they'll be too negatively impacted, only they might have unrealistic beauty standards but then they recognize this is fiction. And this genre is naturally inundated with mostly beautfiul people and some monstrous characters.
All that is to say, yeah I think men and women in this game should be sexy when their design calls for it and these swimsuits could be sexier and I am justified in thinking thesw corporations would not corrupt people in allowing such a thing. Though yeah the 90's was the golden age of superheroine leotards and bikinis.
