>>149309318 (OP)Itโs frustrating, because the basic premise of his character is absolutely rife with potential. RT is a JSA/pre-WW2 era android that still serves as a hero in the modern age, and that basic summary, in of itself, opens tons of potential stories.
Obviously you have all your classical android/robot centric stories, like whether a machine can learn to love, fighting against their own programming in a battle over their free will, and so on, but the fact that Redโs been around since WW2 is whatโs really fascinating to me. How does a machine thatโs been around and functioning for over eighty years continue to function? What has he seen in all that time? Does he remember all of it with perfect clarity, or has he been forced to forget due to the limitations of his memory? Does he feel inadequate or replaced by the advent of new technologies and heroes?
Heโs already treated as โthat one guy everyone knows, but never gets a proper introductionโ in every piece of DC media not named Batman:TBAB, so DO something with that goddamnit.
