>>149323591 (OP)2 is fine when it's being Iron Man 2, but it keeps grinding to a halt to set up later MCU movies, it's obvious they were still figuring out how to do the shared universe and seed elements for later installments. The final battle manages to be great but way too short.
Iron Man 3 was good until the Mandarin twist, which it never really recovers from. If you have a fake villain, the real villain needs to be better and more compelling then the fake. The movie not letting Tony actually suit up and be Iron Man for the finale of an Iron Man movie sucked, too.
