Did the show take place in the early 2000s/10s or some alternative modern day where they're behind? This show came out in 2010 but each Format Wars episodes introduced the latest formats (which were already out by the time by the show came out) such as DVD and Internet and portray them as the villains trying to put the old formats Obsolete, which is apparently a bad thing.
