I would've added some foreshadowing to Helen being a pilot. It comes out of nowhere so that she can get to the island.

its really not that hard to get a baby sitter if its the dumb teenage freind of the family which i assume she was.
id imagine planes where really fucking loud in the 60s aswell which would easily explain why she didnt hear either of them

I find it hard to believe this guy left his home, invented and sold all that technology, became ultra-rich, got himself an island, built that base on the island, created all those Omnidroid prototypes, and killed those supers in just 15 years

Why would foreshadowing be needed when you see her flying the plane and knowing exactly how she had easy access to said plane?

Poking holes in the Incredibles screenplay is a fool's errand. It's been widely lauded as one of the best in cinema history for a reason. Every scene plays a role that'd lessen the film if it were left out. EVERY scene.
