Filoni fucking wasted and killed him in his dogshit gay Rebels cartoon for toddlers on DisneyXD channel. Maul was supposed to be the main villain in George Lucas' sequel trilogy with Darth Talon. But first faggot cocksuckers at Disney rejected George Lucas' story treatments and his creative input, resulting in the dogshit sequel trilogy that we got, and then Filoni betrayed George's vision and offed him in fucking Rebels. Maul is cool as fuck and he is the most interesting villain in the saga, both visually and story-wise. We should have gotten this show years ago, instead of dogshit gay Bad Batch that wasted 4 years of everyone's lives.

I think that he deliberately set Maul as a crime boss to lay ground for his ST. Maul's resurrection premiered on 2011 Iirc, which was the point Lucas started to write his treatments for real.
