Now that the movie is out and is a major success, what kind of stories or Justice League crossovers do you all want to see

>Justice League crossovers
None anytime soon. I'm not seeing the movie until tomorrow and I've shockingly avoided plenty of the spoilers but it clearly has too many 'heroes' in it - I don't mind a movie with some support versus lone adventures, but Superman of all heroes didn't really need them and they can't do a rescue in every film.

I would like to see Booster and Beetle (Ted) as a low-budget, low stakes (as far as world ending action set pieces) buddy comedy matched with a Fire and Ice buddy comedy (or them as co-leads almost as if it was two movies in one), so they can do a Super Buddies animated series with the Justice Gunn.

I'd like to see them do Paradise Lost but also do something magic - either Shadow Pact or the Trench Coat Brigade/Tim Hunter, with Zee and Con Job, etc. Not so much a Justice League Dark but just a movie exploring some of the horror/supernatural/magical elements of the DC which could easily be it's own proper triology or two movies and a animated series to match up with Creature Commandos.

Nah, these are mindless shills.
Superman is a punching bag and loses every single fight. Krypto wins 2 of them for him, and the Justice Gang wins the others.
It has 0 original soundtrack, just a constant remix from the old movie's theme. And I do mean constant. I got fed up with it 10 minutes in.
Metropolis is turbowrecked, who knows the kill count. And the villain has Superman's exact powers (a clone), but it doesn't end with a neck snapping. More like Superman hurls him towards oncoming traffic and he ends up in a blackhole. Pretty vicious. I'd say a neck snap after being offered to surrender multiple times is more merciful than being tossed into a blackhole where with your resistance you no doubt would be crushed for a minute or two before dying.

But worst of all is the Invincible inspiration. Superman is sent to Earth to conquer the weaker humans and make a super harem, getting as many wives as possible.

Also if sets up nothing despite being a "first movie".

If they really want to beat Marvel at the "diversity" schtick without pandering, they should casually introduce the Milestone characters as just existing without any multiversal bullshit.

Really obscure modern Superman villains like Encantadora.

I hope their Batman is relatively young and portrayed similar to BTAS with a pinch of James Bond style espionage.

Go all cosmic with Green Lantern lore.

I'd love to see their take on Mister Miracle and Big Barda.

The thing I loved most about this is how gonzo Silver Agey and "DC" the setting feels. It's lived in. Pocket dimensions, intergalactic zoos and whatnot are already just things that happen here. The storytelling seems limitless and there's nothing that is forced to be "grounded" in that boring postmodern way. It reminded me of Justice League Unlimited.

They can't. They have to go through Milestone Media and Dwayne McDuffie's estate to use the characters.
It's probably not worth the hassle outside of e Static. Never mind that Milestone tried to fuck Dwayne McDuffie's widow out of her rights.

I don't think she deserves IP rights to such culturally valuable stuff that's been around for decades just because she fucked him for a little while. If you don't like it, so be it. Wasting your valuable time on a basket weaving forum insulting strangers over this is pathetic though. What happened to ignoring what you don't like? Or are you going to argue how a Superman movie not being to your liking is somehow affecting everyone? Fuck out of here, you midwits

Superman will flop at the box office and i don't want any crossovers until i care about the characters. Gunn has a long way to go for the normies to care about these z list characters. Gunnfags are crazy if they think people care about Gunn's DC universe.

I will admit, I am a Marvelfag and I don't really know or care much about anything other than Superman and Doom Patrol. The only Batman I like is the 60s show and the newest movie to the point that if Battinson isn't folded into the DCU i just wont care
What i really want to see then is Gunn tackling DOOM. FUCKING. PATROL.
Just make an absolutely gonzo insane, weird as balls movie with 0 regard for common sense or audience expectations. Make Animal-Vegetable-Mineral-Man the villain, cast Ryan Gosling as Flex Mentallo, The Chief stands up and does a ridiculous dance for no good reason and it is never brought up again. Robotman eats cans and shits bolts. Danny the Street is there.
Just go absolutely stupid with it.

>I hope their Batman is relatively young
Not going to happen; he will be portrayed as older than Batpatinson because he's supposed to have the Demon Spawn as his Robin, and since Rob is now 7 fucking years older while Matt played with himself and his Tom King Suffering For My Art (™), he'll likely be OLD (not Batfleck old, so someone with good genes, not Ben genes, that will still look good in a decade to do the third movie and any cross-overs.

Also, don't forget, that if it actually happens, they are allegedly currently planning that animated (but in-universe) look back at Dick and Jason's adventures as 'orphan' street rats/'thieves' they announced with Dynamic Duo.

Previews will be in within the next hour, late last night, the reporting was:

>"‘Superman’ Soaring To $21M+ In Previews: Best YTD & Record For James Gunn"

>"Lots of records flying around here for the first title in DC’s phase one: First, Superman‘s previews rep a record for a James Gunn directed film besting Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3‘s $17.5M ($118.4M 3-day) and it’s also the best damn previews we’ve seen all year ahead of Disney’s Lilo & Stitch ($14.5M, $146M 3-day opening) and Captain America: Brave New World ($12M, $88.8M 3-day)."

>"Other intriguing benchmarks: Gunn’s Superman is easily ahead of the preview box office of Zack Snyder’s 2013 Man of Steel ($9M, 10pm start time, different era for previews, which turned into a $116.6M opening)."
