It just wasn’t funny or comfy. Though the planned finale was Robot Jones getting fed up with the abuse and going full Skynet maybe would have all been worth it. Basically the robot version of a school shooting.

Lu’s outfit was changed after the What a Cartoon! pilot. In the pilot short “Crash Lancelot” (aired November 7, 1998), Lu wore only a painted-on white stripe across her chest — essentially topless, apart from that stripe and it quickly got edited for later airings, giving Lu her classic tube top.

I don’t dislike this show much these days and actually find it quite charming, but I hated it as a kid.
Alway thought it was a weird choice for CN to choose this over a lot of the other What A Cartoon shorts. I guess they either saw something in the creator/moscow partnership, or just thought the show would be a hit. It just never quite fit in.

Funny how this show had pirates when Cartoon Network had a strict “NO PIRATES” rule at the time of it’s release
