Am I the only one who hates that Superman and Batman have biological kids?

I'm not saying there haven't been good stories with them, but the idea of Superman and Batman being permanently stuck in this role really bugs me.

You're right, Dc should have Martha Kent shot and Superman make a deal with Darkseid to revive Martha in exchange for his marriage to Lois rebooting Superman to where he was alone and Lois doesn't like Clark Kent and Jon doesn't exist

I'm thoroughly tired of deaging Batman and superman and prefer them over 35 so I don't mind at all.

I think more characters should be parents to older kids by this point. Spider-man especially.

I think it's great. Especially for Superman. It's the next step to take him.

If I had my way the DCU would be be like Waid's World's Finest. No kids. One Robin. Maybe Batgirl and Supergirl.

It should work for Superman easily enough, he's like the father figure of the superhero community as it is, the problem was aging his son up and turning him gay.

It doesn't really fit so well for Batman, even with them pushing the "Bat Family" angle as hard as they are. Damian should just have been a homunculus the Al Ghuls created, and should have died at the end of his original story.
