>>149376431>>149376399Superman will end up with over $200M opening weekend, worldwide, saar - it had already hit half that figure by the reported through Friday attendance figures globally.
In it's first two days of domestic release, JWR had ended up with $55,804,630 - that's a reported actual figure. We don't actually have a reported actual figure for Superman's first two days of domestic release but it's reported as $56,500,000 as a combination of actual figures and reported estimates.
>>149376243>>149376657>Sauce? The current day by day is lower than MOS was.MoS was $56,075,491 (actual tickets sold domestic, not reported); as I typed above, as of this morning, which included actual tickets sold for some and estimates for others, is SLIGHTLY ahead of that, by about a few hundred thousand, and that's in less theaters (4135 to MoS 4207).
You can't really compare opening international because MoS has already finished all it's international run and Superman still has markets to open in. You can (and people will) compare what the worldwide will be on Monday afternoon or Tuesday when we have actual figures to MoS actual worldwide opening, but it should be very similar.
Superman right now, unless it collapses hugely next weekend, end up it's entire run sometime in August ahead of MoS, sorry to disappoint you.
