While the movie isn't without its flaws, I think its still completely serviceable. It's kinda a celebration of Spider-Man films, validating all 3 of them. Even Holland "Grows Up", and makes a commendable sacrifice in the end

I agree with this. I liked the Tobey movies but I had no real interest in rewatching them, especially the third, but we almost bought tickets for the re-releasing (timing didn't work for a group and I wasn't invested to go alone, like I did for TASM2), but I suspect we'd make plans to see a re-release in the future of it.

It definitely helped rehab the TASM movies.
Holland is still popular with normies but he's never going to be a star in the same way that Pratt could help juice Jurassic BO a bit, and Chris Evans can help even a rom com do better than it should. Even Tom Holland in a movie with RPatz and Charlie Hunnam couldn't score a box office win.

I'd watch a re-release of NWH easily. I regret only seeing it in theaters once as I think it would be fun to have seen it in 3D or a PLF screen. I only say the 4DX which was not a 3D at my theater.

These new Spider-man flicks are daytime movies in my country. 20+ year old ones still get the 8-9 pm slot but this is a 2 pm on a saturday movie. I know /co/ says this about everything but these mcu spidey flicks are actual made for children movies.
