The cartoons are so much different from the comics
All DC shows are heavily different from their comic book counterparts.
They differ so much, that trying to use the cartoons as ads for the comics are retarded, because the fans of the show are going to be very disappointed that everything they love about the show is absent from the comics.

The SOL CN shows became a thing because of Steven Universe. And one of the few wacky cartoons from the 2010s was Uncle Grandpa. A show that came out in the same year of TTG.
