I loved Superman, but looking at the box office numbers, I'm disappointed. How can this be it? I'm starting to think the best idea would've been to create an animated cinematic universe—using a Spider-Verse–style animation or developing a new type of high-end animation that looks theatrical and premium, but is still cheaper than live action, so it could become a hit. I don't know. This is really sad. I hope it still makes money.
What would you have done to reboot DC for film?
>>149381933 (OP)If I were James Gunn (Superman), I would greenlit the Batman Beyond movie pitch from Spiderverse team. A Batman Beyond animated film done in a style like Spiderverse would be amazing. I also think they should've made DCU as animated films instead of live action, but I loved the new Superman movie.
