Am I the only one out of the loop on this? I pretty much stopped following most Channel Awesome creators at some point in the early-mid 2010s, so I genuinely don't know why people think this guy is a laughingstock now. He had some takes I disagreed with, sure, but he never struck me as particularly cringey.

Yeah, but as far as cringe video maker people go I still insist it's were better than what the Zoomers and Alphas watch. Ours for the most part were actually just regular working class people that bought a shitty camera and committed to a pop culture but and timely humor that didn't age well but we thought was hilarious at the time and a majority of the time they were either rightfully mocking slop or discussing old school gems. Now it's all trustfund kids talking about slop and often trying to convince you that slop is gold. Or they're just pointing a camera at their face going: "Look at me! Yay! Haha! Look at me!"
