But seriously, why is Lex Luthor such a boring nothing of a character? He's just a bald, seething cunt. Nothing more. Any attempts to make him "complex" like his faux "humanity first" spiel is just simple sugar-coating with little underneath. He doesn't have style or aesthetics, he doesn't have literally anything unique or memorable about him, he's just there to seethe at Superman in basic ways and that's it.

i don't read much Superman, which in turn means i don't read much with Lex Luthor in it, but i'll have to disagree with this notion. he has some fun moments. ironically, in the context of the event in picrel, Superman wasn't even involved.
