I saw the movie today and I really enjoyed it. Much more than I expected to. I liked that it didn't feel the need to rehash the origin stuff or Clark and Lois hooking up and just told us a fucking Superman story. I liked the pace of it, I thought the actors were suited to their roles and I liked the fact that it was hopeful. It felt like Superman to me, and that's really all I wanted.

The way I see it, Superman fans and comic fans would love it since it really tries to be a fairly accurate depiction of the wackyness of a Superman comic with all the little extras.

Action movie popcorn flick fans who want gritty hard action, and not some stupid kids funnybook adaptation would likely hate it since the talking goofy robots, flying dog and other comic stuff would annoy them. All the shit that would never ever make it into a 90s movie because the real super serious adult director would be embarrassed to have that shit in their movie type of thing.
