Now that the comics are relevant again and the MCU’s actually worth watching with the Multiverse saga with Avengers: Doomsday coming May, im gonna say it….Thor was never interesting. People only pretended to “like” him because he was related to Loki. Loki in both comics and MCU proves he’s a goddamn powerhouse all by himself without Thor holding him back.
Thor’s comics and MCU shit are worthless without Loki there to save the plot because no one actually gives a shit. Anyone saying they “like” Thor actually means they like Loki…but Thor used to be Loki-adjacent so they latched on. Thor is the same shit in every media. Either a braindead frat bro or some do-gooder fag shit with no personlity. No depth, no edge, just recycled dogshit. Meanwhile Loki can rewrite fucking multiverses, save heroes, and is actually evolving as a character instead of running the same “Am I worthy? :^(” horse shit for sixty goddamn years.
Even MCU Loki wants shit to do with Thor, found friends, figured his shit out, got a job with the TVA running the whole goddamn multiverse, and now he’s basically the MCU’s main character and one above He was even in the Spider-Gwen comic. Nobody else in the MCU has that kinda pull. Thor sure as fuck never will.
