I can’t think of a non-/co/ piece of media that had a larger impact on /co/ character than picrel. This changed Superman’s origins forever, and the character is better off for it.

If you want to go by that. Smallville wasn't even in Kansas before the '78 movie. So that's a fairly big step that the show would need to even exist
